Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Mixvisor, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don't agree, please don't use Mixvisor.

Description of Service

Mixvisor is a desktop application that helps you organize and manage your music production projects. The app scans your local folders to detect DAW project files and provides tools for organization, tracking, and audio preview.

Account Terms

  1. Account Creation: You may need to create an account to access certain features
  2. Account Security: You're responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password
  3. Accurate Information: Provide accurate and complete information when creating your account
  4. One Person Per Account: Accounts are for individual use only

Acceptable Use

You agree to use Mixvisor only for lawful purposes. You will NOT:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application
  • Use Mixvisor to violate any laws or regulations
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Use Mixvisor to harm others or interfere with their use of the service
  • Share your account credentials with others

Intellectual Property

Your Content

  • You Own Your Projects: All your DAW projects, audio files, and creative content remain yours
  • Local Processing: Mixvisor processes your project data locally on your machine
  • No Ownership Claims: We make no claim to ownership of your creative work

Our Software

  • Mixvisor and all associated trademarks, logos, and intellectual property are owned by us
  • You receive a limited, non-exclusive license to use the software
  • You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works

Payment and Subscriptions

  1. Free Trial: New users receive a 14-day free trial to test all features
  2. Pricing: Current pricing is available at our pricing page
  3. Billing: After the trial, subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
  4. No Refunds: Given the 14-day free trial period, we do not offer refunds on paid subscriptions. Try Mixvisor free before committing to a paid plan
  5. Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Access continues until the end of your billing period
  6. Price Changes: We may change prices with 30 days' notice to existing customers

Service Availability

  • We strive to keep Mixvisor available and functional, but we don't guarantee 100% uptime
  • We may perform maintenance that temporarily interrupts service
  • We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice

Privacy and Data

Your use of Mixvisor is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Key points:

  • We never upload, access, or store your DAW project files or audio
  • All file scanning happens locally on your machine
  • We collect minimal usage data to improve the app
  • We do not sell your data

Updates and Changes

  • We may release updates to improve Mixvisor
  • Some updates may be required for continued use
  • We may modify these Terms from time to time
  • Significant changes will be communicated via email

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

  • Use Mixvisor in harmful or abusive ways
  • Fail to pay subscription fees

Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.

We are not liable for:

  • Loss of data (always maintain backups of your projects)
  • Interruption of service
  • Bugs or errors in the software
  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Maximum Liability: Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

System Requirements

You are responsible for ensuring your computer meets the minimum system requirements for Mixvisor.

Third-Party Services

Mixvisor may integrate with third-party services. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved in applicable US courts.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Mixvisor after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
